About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at VICENTE T. LAO CONSTRUCTION'. This is a full-time position based in Calabarzon. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall HR function and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

• Handling the full spectrum of HR responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and benefits administration
• Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Collaborating with the leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals
• Maintaining and updating employee records and ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws and regulations
• Assisting with the design and delivery of employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment
• Participating in the development and implementation of HR systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the construction or related industry
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, labour laws, and compliance requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
• Proficient in HR information systems and data analysis
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
