Roles and Responsibilities:

Performs job functions consistent with the corporate vision and mission statements and the core values of the company.

Works in accordance with the documented quality, environmental and safety procedures and instructions.

Trains and coaches assigned Business Unit/s on process excellence documentation using the prescribed tools such as SIPOC, Turtle Diagram, Swimlane and FMEA.

Conducts periodic audits of Business Units as assigned by the Enterprise Process Excellence Manager.

Prepares audit checklists and audit reports.

Escalates to the Enterprise Process Excellence Manager any unresolved issues found during the audit.

Conducts follow-up audits and ensures actions are taken on audit findings without undue delay.

Assists and coaches assigned Business Unit/s on Root Cause Analysis process and tools to address audit nonconformities.

Conducts review and update of the process maps together with the Business Unit's process excellence person-in-charge after each audit.

Assists the Enterprise Process Excellence Manager on setting up and qualifying internal process excellence audit team for each Business Unit.

Provides coaching on individual business unit's process excellence auditing team as necessary.

Leads ad hoc project teams & committees as directed by the Enterprise Process Excellence Manager.

Proposes budget and resources needed for the execution of process excellence auditing to the Enterprise Process Excellence Manager.

Participates in the yearly Process Excellence operational review using the Strength, Weakness, Opportunity & Threat (SWOT) analysis methodology.

Participates in the Lean Management program of the company.

Provide support and actively participate in programs to improve the Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety System implementation.

Perform such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and / or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

College graduate preferably degree course in Engineering or related field

Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in a manufacturing set up

Has a strong ISO 9001 and auditing background, preferably with ISO 9001 Internal Auditing Certification

Extensive knowledge on process mapping & risk assessment tools such as but not limited to SIPOC, Turtle Diagram, Swimlane, SWOT and FMEA

Knowledge on quality tools and other statistical tools

Preferred Skills:

Competence in project management and system engineering

Skills in systems development so as to make intelligent recommendation with regards to systems and procedures

Strong attention to details and diligent approach

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to interact with all levels within the organization

Critical thinking and business acumen

Excellent problem solving/analytical skills with a high level of accuracy

Demonstrated skills in MS Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

Ability to develop and deliver trainings

Flexible to varying demands of the role.

Ability to work on own initiative with limited or no supervision
