Core Responsibilities:

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload packages and goods from the delivery vehicle.
  • Delivery: Deliver packages and goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Route Adherence: Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints.
  • Safety: Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Record Keeping: Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct basic maintenance of delivery vehicles.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Driving Skills: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with Local Areas: Knowledge of local streets, neighborhoods, and routes.
  • Reliability and Responsibility: Be highly responsible and reliable.
  • Time Management: Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact professionally with customers.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry packages.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
