Essential Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll and manage financial reports.
  • Prepares expense transactions and approval request form for all expenses and prior to approval of senior management.
  • Check and fill out vouchers, along with signing checks for the statement.
  • Review, prepare, monitor, and/or assist in documentations to be filed by the company with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), such as tax returns, financial statements, reports, and other government agencies, including local government units.
  • Prepare bank deposits, disbursements, and manage the enrollment in online banking and payment.
  • Leading and coaching accounting staff, supervising general accounting functions.
  • Submit monthly financial reports to management with high accuracy.
  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
  • Handle enrollment of online filing and payment to BIR through ESPS.
  • Designated as check signatory of the company when required.
  • Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) report, checking the monthly cash receipts and disbursements report.
  • Process the monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT, withholding tax on compensation, and withholding tax on expanded.
  • Responsible for cash encashment for company use.
  • Prepare government compliance and various BIR Forms 2550M, 2550Q, 1601-C, 0169-E, 1601-EQ, Q as well as Annual Registration of BIR 0605.
  • Prepare & generate contribution payment of SSS, HDMF, PHIC through online portals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience in how to handle online transactions of BIR using the system required by BIR.
  • QuickBooks proficiency is required.

  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be highly organized and must be able to prioritize tasks.
