Role Overview

We're looking for a proactive Accounting Supervisor who can lead a small team, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate financial records. You will oversee daily accounting operations, review compliance reports prepared by staff, and help drive improvements in accuracy and efficiency. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys both hands-on review work and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Coordinate the Accounting Team

· Supervise accounting assistants and encoders to ensure accurate and timely output

· Provide guidance, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet deadlines

· Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement

Ensure Financial Accuracy & Timely Compliance

· Preparation of BIR filings (Forms 1601, 2550, 1702, Alphalist, and related submissions)

· Preparation of trial balance and Income Tax Return (ITR)

· Ensure adherence to Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations

Optimize Operations

· Monitor daily accounting processes and resolve discrepancies

· Work closely with the Accounting Head to clear backlogs and meet reporting timelines

· Suggest workflow improvements to enhance team productivity

· Monitor cash position, payments, and collections to maintain healthy cash flow

Support ERP & Systems Implementation

· Coordinate with the team to ensure proper use of accounting software and systems

· Help integrate improved reporting processes into ERP tools

Other Responsibilities

· Perform other tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by management in line with business needs, internal controls, and personal development goals.

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus but not required

At least 3–5 years in accounting, with experience in compliance and supervisory work

Strong review and verification skills with attention to detail

Knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR reporting, proficiency in Excel and accounting software

Good communicator and problem-solver, able to work with minimal supervision

Organized and methodical approach to managing multiple tasks.
