Duties and Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Head
- Strategic Oversight of the Entire Supply Chain
o Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's vision to minimize late and erroneous deliveries, improve protocols, and ensure systematic operations.
o Oversee the integration of procurement, logistics, production, and distribution to optimize end-to-end supply chain performance.
- Leadership and Supervision of Procurement and Logistics Teams
o Directly supervise and lead the procurement staff and logistics staff, fostering collaboration, setting performance goals, and ensuring accountability.
o Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills in sourcing, purchasing, transportation, and delivery processes.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Procurement Management
o Oversee the procurement process, ensuring effective purchasing strategies, strong supplier relationships, and cost-efficient sourcing practices.
o Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to reduce risks of delays or errors in material supply, aligning with the goal of minimizing late deliveries.
o Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and ensure reliability in supply
- Logistics and Distribution Coordination
o Manage logistics operations to ensure timely transportation and delivery of goods, directly addressing the vision to minimize late and erroneous deliveries.
o Integrate logistics with production and distribution processes to streamline workflows and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
o Oversee inventory management to prevent stockouts or overstock situations that could lead to delivery errors.
- Operational and Strategic Planning
o Lead long-term strategic planning to improve supply chain efficiency, focusing on reducing errors, delays, and operational bottlenecks.
o Execute day-to-day operational plans in collaboration with procurement and logistics teams to maintain smooth operations and meet delivery timelines.
o Continuously assess and refine supply chain processes to enhance systemization and protocol adherence.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
o Collaborate with other departments (e.g., production, sales, and finance) to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
o Facilitate communication and coordination across procurement, logistics, and distribution teams to ensure seamless operations and address any issues promptly.
- Process Improvement and Systematization
o Identify areas for improvement in current procurement and logistics protocols and implement systematic solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
o Develop and enforce standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to minimize errors and ensure consistency in supply chain operations.
o Leverage technology and data analytics to monitor performance, predict potential delays, and optimize supply chain processes.
- Risk Management and Problem Resolution
o Anticipate and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, such as supplier delays or logistical challenges, to prevent late or erroneous deliveries.
o Address and resolve any issues in procurement or logistics operations promptly, ensuring minimal impact on delivery schedules and customer satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
o Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement, logistics, and overall supply chain performance, focusing on delivery timeliness, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
o Regularly report on supply chain metrics to senior management, highlighting progress toward minimizing late and erroneous deliveries and improving protocols.
- Budget and Resource Management
o Manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, logistics, and distribution while maintaining quality and timeliness.
o Allocate resources efficiently across procurement and logistics teams to support the company's goals and vision.
QUALIFICATIONS
With at least 5 years of related working experience
Graduate of 4 years business course or any related course
Can work with minimum supervision
Can handle pressure
With excellent communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From Php38,000.00 per month
