The Contract Specialist shall be responsible for:

  • Ensure contracts are clear, fair, and legally binding, protecting the interests of the Employer.
  • Monitor the performance of contracts to ensure all parties fulfill their obligations.
  • Resolve contract disputes and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
  • • Provide advice and guidance on financial and contractual matters to the project team.
  • Ensure submission of financial reports as required by ADB and the government.
  • Perform other duties that will be required by the employer.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, business or other suitable or equitable related education.
  • Post-graduate degree in related field is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience 
  •  Minimum ten (10) years' experience as Contract and/or financial management specialist in the feasibility study, detailed engineering design or construction supervision of road and/or bridge projects 
  • Minimum seven (7) years professional experience in handling international financing institutions or organizations' financed projects using FIDIC Contracts for infrastructure projects.
