Job Title: Chief Accountant

Schedule: 7:20 AM to 4:20 PM | Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
• 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in general accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), tax laws, and government regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or other ERP systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, financial modeling).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues.
• Experience working in a corporate, SME, or audit firm environment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of BIR, VAT, withholding tax, and other government-mandated reports.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and support financial accuracy.
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants and accounting staff, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems, processes, and software tools.
• Provide management with timely and accurate financial insights and reports to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning, cost control, and business strategy execution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php60,000.00 per month
