  1. Oversee the daily operation of the Accounting Department.

  2. Prepare monthly financial reports (balance sheet, income statement and cash flow).

  3. Review daily disbursements by examining the completeness and legitimacy of supporting documents and correctness of amount.

  4. Review invoices and other requests for payment and review check vouchers before they are routed to the check signatories.

  5. Review encoded transactions.

  6. Ensure remittances to government institutions are made in time.

  7. Prepare financial reports to the creditor banks.

  8. Provide the monthly financial picture of the school as compared with fund forecast/budget deficit or excess for senior management's basis for formulating course of action.

  9. Develop appropriate accounting policies and procedures by customizing existing accounting systems to ensure accurate recording and provision of complete financial picture of the organization.

  10. Prepare annual budget and financial projections.

  11. Monitor compliance with government regulations/directives by paying dues, taxes, contributions and submitting corresponding reports on time.

  12. Coordinate with external auditors by furnishing them the required financial statements and supporting schedules and providing explanations for audit exemptions to facilitate formulation of audit findings if necessary.

  13. Conduct random checks and reviews of various accounting and financial reports by cross checking subsidiary records and schedules on which the reports were based to ensure accuracy and timely submission.

  14. Organize training programs and seminars for the department and ensure availability of training programs.

  15. Manage performance of the members of the department by providing clearly stated goals, work processes, and delegating/assigning tasks to monitor progress and achievement of goals.

  16. Prepare and communicate the results of the performance appraisal review of subordinate employees.

  17. Keep abreast of the latest government regulations and new trends and technology pertinent to the position by attending training seminars and other means of professional and personal development.

  18. Perform related duties as directed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php40, Php60,000.00 per month
