About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to support our accounting and finance operations in Manila. This role is ideal for candidates with solid accounting fundamentals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in financial reporting, bookkeeping, audits, tax preparation, and other accounting tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and summaries.
  • Perform general accounting duties such as journal entries, GL reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
  • Support tax preparation and compliance (BIR filings, documentation, schedules).
  • Coordinate with internal teams on budget monitoring and expense tracking.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing required documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Perform accounts payable and receivable functions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (fresh CPA passers welcome).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and reliability.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in corporate accounting, auditing, or bookkeeping.
  • Knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR processes.
  • Exposure to ERP systems or cloud-based accounting tools.
