Job Responsibilities:

  1. Active Directory Design & Architecture

  2. Support and Maintenance of AD forests, domains, and organizational units (OUs)

  3. Planning and implementing trust relationships and replication strategies

  4. Group Policy Management

  5. Creating and managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs)

  6. Troubleshooting GPO application issues

  7. Authentication Protocols o Deep knowledge of Kerberos, NTLM, and LDAP

  8. Implementing secure authentication and single sign-on (SSO)

  9. AD Security and Hardening

  10. Securing domain controllers o Implementing tiered administration models

  11. Monitoring and auditing AD activity

  12. Backup and Disaster Recovery

  13. AD backup strategies and authoritative/non-authoritative restores utilizing Semperis

  14. Using tools like Windows Server Backup, Veeam, or Azure Backup
  15. PowerShell Scripting

  16. Automating AD tasks using PowerShell o Writing scripts for bulk user creation, reporting, and cleanup

  17. Cloud Integration

  18. Hybrid identity setups with Azure AD

  19. Synchronization using Azure AD Connect

  20. Compliance and Auditing

  21. Ensuring AD configurations meet regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)

  22. Using tools like Microsoft Defender for Identity or third-party SIEMS

  23. Tools & Technologies Familiarity

  24. Microsoft tools: ADUC, ADSI Edit, RSAT, Azure AD, ADFS

  25. Third-party tools: Quest, Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint o Monitoring: Event Viewer, Sysmon, Splunk, ELK Stack

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term
