A Project Control and Monitoring Associate supports a project manager by tracking a project's progress against its budget, scope, and schedule to identify deviations and ensure successful completion. Key responsibilities include monitoring deliverables and resources, analyzing performance metrics, conducting risk assessments, reporting on project status, and helping implement corrective actions to keep the project on course.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Tracking:

Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the project stays on track.
- Budget and Cost Control:

Compare actual costs to budgeted costs, identify variances, and help manage project finances.
- Schedule Management:

Keep an eye on the project schedule, identify potential delays, and implement measures to ensure timely completion.
- Risk and Issue Management:

Conduct risk assessments, maintain an issue log, and assist in developing risk management plans and solutions.
- Reporting and Communication:

Prepare and present status reports, progress reviews, and performance metric reports to the project manager and team.
- Quality Assurance:

Support quality control assessments, reviews, and adherence to project scope and objectives.
- Resource Allocation:

Monitor the allocation and utilization of resources to ensure they are used efficiently.
- Collaboration:

Work with project managers, team members, and implementing partners to maintain effective communication and partnerships.
