About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planner / Scheduler / Controller to support internal project delivery by developing, maintaining, and reporting on schedules using Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).

Projects include complex reinforcing steel delivery from design through supply, fabrication, and logistics. Love Reinforcing also provides project planning services for external clients across multiple sectors, including Civil & Infrastructure, Commercial Construction, Energy & Utilities, and Transport & Rail.

This role ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget while providing accurate, timely data to support management and client decision-making. This hybrid role is ideal for candidates experienced in Primavera Cloud (OPC) or P6 and passionate about delivering high-quality, technically challenging projects.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Project Controls, or related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in project planning and controls within construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) preferred; Primavera P6 (PPM) as minimum.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and other planning tools is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of critical path analysis, progress measurement, resource management, cost control, and EVM.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, or other analytics/reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules in Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Fabrication Teams to update progress.
  • Monitor and report on progress, performance, and productivity across multiple projects.
  • Perform critical path, milestone, and resource analysis to support planning decisions.
  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM), variance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Produce progress reports and dashboards for internal and client presentations.
  • Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation or recovery strategies.
  • Integrate schedule data with cost, procurement, and fabrication systems.
  • Maintain accurate baselines, revisions, and as-built schedules.
  • Promote best practice project controls across the business.
