People Services Coordinator-Employee Engagement

The People Services Coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to all employees. Exceptional people motivation, organizational and event planning skills. Creative and Results driven type personality. The successful candidate will be expected to exceed the needs of the business and ensure that employee morale is constantly being focused on.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Organizes all Company sponsored special events (Birthdays, Employee Recognition Programs, employee appreciation, new customer celebrations, work through lunch coordination, etc. off-site Company events and others as needed)
• Serve on Activities committees
• Hosts new hire employee orientation
• develops ideas for morale building activities to continuously improve morale and best practices
• Manages the Asurion Suggestion Program
• Ensures that all methods of communication are clear and available to all employees in a timely manner
• Participate in developing department goals and objectives
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Work Arrangement: Onsite, amenable to work nightshift, ability to work on a flexible schedule (day, evening, and some weekend hours)
- At least 2 years of experience in event planning in a call center environment, vendor management experience is a must
- Organizes all company sponsored special events such as: Birthdays, Employee Recognition Programs, Employee Appreciation, New Customer celebrations, off-site company events and others as needed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks quickly
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills, problem solver with attention to detail
