About the role

Hospitality Resources Inc' is seeking an experienced and dynamic Security Manager to oversee the safety and security operations of our prestigious hotel and resort in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. As a full-time Security Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of security personnel and ensuring the highest standards of safety and security for our guests, staff, and property. What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the hotel, its guests, and staff
  2. Overseeing the daily operations of the security team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
  3. Conducting risk assessments, identifying and addressing potential security threats, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
  4. Liaising with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure an effective and coordinated response to any incidents
  5. Monitoring and maintaining security equipment, such as CCTV systems, access control devices, and alarm systems
  6. Investigating and documenting any security-related incidents, and providing detailed reports to management
  7. Promoting a culture of safety and security awareness among hotel staff and guests

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a security management role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  2. Excellent knowledge of security best practices, risk management, and crisis response procedures
  3. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of security personnel
  4. Proficient in the use of security equipment and technology, such as CCTV, access control systems, and incident reporting software
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with hotel management, staff, and guests
  6. A valid security license or certification, and a clean criminal record
