Key Responsibilities:

Security Officer

  • Oversee and monitor security operations within the facility, including access control, CCTV surveillance, and reporting by assigned security personnel.
  • Ensure proper implementation of access control procedures for personnel, vehicles, visitors, and and contractors in accordance with approved protocols.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, drivers, clients, and visitors to ensure secure and efficient movement and transactions within the facility.
  • Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and operational disruptions, initiate appropriate actions, and escalate matters to management and the PFSO as required.
  • Review and maintain security and operational records.

Port Facility Security Officer (P.F.S.O)

  • Develop, implement, maintain, and update the Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) in compliance with the ISPS Code and SOLAS requirements.
  • Conduct Port Facility Security Assessments (PFSA) and recommend corrective and preventive security measures.
  • Determine and implement security measures appropriate to the [prevailing security level (Security Level 1,2, and 3)
  • Liaise with Ship Security Officers (SSO), Company Security Officers (CSO) Port Authority, Coast Guard, and other relevant authorities on security matters.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping related to ISPS compliance, including training records, drills, exercises , incident reports, and Declaration of Security (DoS)

Other responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, CPA, DOLE, and applicable operational standards through monitoring and documentation.
  • Ensure the port facility is secure, complaint, and prepared to prevent, detect, and respond to security threats.

Qualifications

  • College graduate
  • Bachelor of Science in Criminology is an advantage but not required
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience
  • Certified PFSO is an advantage but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
