Job Overview

The Security Officer plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant work environment within Arrowhead Logistics Services. This position ensures that all truck drivers, helpers, and logistics operations adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The Security Officer is responsible for monitoring personnel conduct, inspecting vehicles, and reporting any irregularities, damages, or violations to management.

Key ResponsibilitiesPersonnel Conduct & Compliance

  • Ensure that all truck drivers and helpers maintain professional behavior and discipline within company premises.
  • Enforce a drug-free workplace by monitoring employee behavior, reporting concerns, and supporting company testing protocols.
  • Assist in the implementation and compliance of company policies, safety rules, and security procedures.

Vehicle Security & Inspection

  • Conduct routine checks on all trucks to ensure all parts and accessories are complete and properly installed.
  • Inspect vehicles to verify that they are roadworthy, safe, and compliant with regulatory standards before dispatch.
  • Identify, document, and report any damages, missing parts, or maintenance issues to management immediately.

Safety & Incident Monitoring

  • Monitor entry and exit points to secure company assets, equipment, and personnel.
  • Respond to security breaches, incidents, or irregularities promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain detailed logs, inspection reports, and incident records.

Coordination & Communication

  • Collaborate with operations, fleet management, and HR teams to ensure smooth logistics and compliance.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to management regarding risks or safety concerns.
  • Participate in security and safety briefings, trainings, and audits as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional security training or certifications preferred).
  • Experience in security, logistics, or fleet operations is an advantage.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to enforce rules and maintain discipline professionally.
  • Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit and able to conduct inspections and routine patrols.

Working Conditions

  • May require shift work, including nights, weekends, or holidays depending on operational needs.
  • Work is performed in logistics yards, warehouses, and vehicle inspection areas.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php Php600.00 per day
