About the role

This is a full-time Medical Records Officer/IT Officer role at We Hope Medical Clinic in Imus City, Cavite. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the medical records system, ensuring accurate and secure storage and retrieval of patient information. Additionally, you will provide IT support to the clinic, troubleshooting and maintaining the clinic's technology infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  1. Organise and maintain the medical records system, both physical and digital, ensuring records are up-to-date, accurate and readily accessible
  2. Develop and implement procedures for the efficient storage, retrieval and disposal of medical records
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and data protection laws governing medical record-keeping
  4. Provide IT support to the clinic, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining networks and systems, and training staff on the use of technology
  5. Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the clinic's electronic medical records system
  6. Liaise with external IT service providers as needed to address complex technical issues
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the clinic's medical records and IT systems

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant qualifications in medical records management, health informatics or a related field
  2. Strong experience in medical records management, including implementing policies and procedures
  3. Proficient in the use of electronic medical records systems and other healthcare IT applications
  4. Excellent IT troubleshooting and support skills, with the ability to train and support staff
  5. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
