Job Title: Supervisor

Location: Clark, Philippines

Job Purpose:

Responsible for supervising senior travel consultants and travel consultants. Trains, coaches, and mentors employees on how to deliver the best customer service possible.

Minimum requirements:

  • Applicants must be willing to work and relocate in Clark, Pampanga
  • Applicants must be a Filipino citizen or have a relevant residence status
  • High School Diploma / GED required (College Degree is preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years GDS experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the travel industry
  • Interpersonal ability, team management, telephone and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications i.e. word and excel.
  • Strong verbal and written English is a must. Spoken Arabic or any other foreign language would be an advantage.
  • Must be willing to work on shifting schedule.
  • Must be willing to work on holidays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of their team, making sure everyone is pulling their weight, distributing the workload evenly and that motivation and performance levels are maintained if not exceeded.
  • Identify training requirements, maintain records and nominate staff for suitable training, to ensure they are equipped to provide a professional service at all times.
  • Focus the team on the tasks at hand or the internal and external customer requirements. Work with different departments whenever necessary.
  • Ensuring the team provides the highest levels of accuracy and attention to detail in order to
  • deliver excellent customer service. Ensure that all customer complaints/discrepancies received are logged and objectively investigated, recommendations are made to line manager or corrective action is taken. Monitor the quality of service delivered in the Unit to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Answer and resolve escalations from the team handled.
  • Liaise with Revenue accounts and Revenue payable.
  • Work with Sales and Accounts team.
  • Be proficient in back office processes.
  • Update documents and guides for relevant information regarding clients.
  • Ensuring full understanding of the Company's quality standards and expected standards of service in support of this role.
  • Liaising with 'Learning & Development' to assist and support specific activities relating to the training and development of staff within the team.
