A cafe and retail bookshop inside an art gallery, offers a sophisticated coffee menu, pastries and lite fare. Conceived to seamlessly blend hospitality, retail, and cultural engagement, the venture aims to redefine and enhance how visitors interact with the gallery's brand.

Role Description

Equal parts storyteller and craftsman, this role curates the daily ritual of coffee and the celebratory flair of cocktails. The Barista/Bartender is the personality at the counter—bringing warmth, artistry, and precision to every pour.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares coffee and cocktails with technical precision and creative flair
  • Maintains cleanliness and presentation of the bar area
  • Engages with guests, explaining menu items and suggesting pairings
  • Manages bar stock, ensures freshness, and supports inventory needs
  • Upholds café standards of service and consistency

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years barista or coffee industry experience
  • Knowledgeable in coffee beans, brewing methods, and coffee equipment,
  • Experience in espresso calibration, milk steaming and pouring / latte art is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
  • Committed to customer satisfaction, service excellence, and warm hospitality
