Key Responsibilities

Strategic and Operational Leadership

  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for power and facilities management aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and expansion of power plants, substations, and energy infrastructure.
  • Ensure energy supply reliability and optimize generation and distribution efficiency.

Technical and Engineering Oversight

  • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Manage design reviews, technical standards, and compliance with national energy and safety regulations (DOE, ERC, DENR, DOLE).
  • Evaluate and recommend energy technologies and renewable solutions to enhance sustainability and reduce costs.

Budgeting and Resource Management

  • Develop and manage budgets for facilities and power operations, including CAPEX and OPEX planning.
  • Monitor asset performance, energy consumption, and cost efficiency metrics.
  • Negotiate with vendors, service providers, and utility companies to ensure value-driven partnerships.

Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, environmental standards, and occupational health and safety policies.
  • Oversee audits, inspections, and risk assessments related to power systems and critical infrastructure.

People and Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor engineers, supervisors, and technical personnel across multiple facilities.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal departments on energy and infrastructure matters.
  • Represent the company in industry associations or public consultations related to energy and utilities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PRC).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in power generation, utilities, or facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale or multi-site operations.
  • Experience in renewable energy integration or energy efficiency projects is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
  • Strategic planning and analytical capabilities.
  • Leadership, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with Philippine energy regulations, safety codes, and environmental standards.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
