Job Summary:

Lead the implementation and enforcement of environmental, safety, and security programs for the Laguna Project. Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the site.


Key Responsibilities:

Environmental Compliance:

  • Oversee the implementation of environmental policies and programs in compliance with DENR, LGU, and other regulatory bodies
  • Monitor waste management, water/air quality, and pollution control systems
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation (e.g., ECC, SMRs, CMRs, Permits)

Occupational Health & Safety:

  • Lead site-wide OSH initiatives aligned with DOLE, OSHC, and ISO standards
  • Conduct hazard and risk assessments, safety drills, and emergency preparedness programs
  • Develop and update safety manuals, TNA, IDP, and related training materials

Security Operations:

  • Oversee physical site security, asset protection, and personnel safety
  • Coordinate with security agencies, local authorities, and internal stakeholders
  • Implement and review access controls, surveillance, and incident response protocols

Compliance & Audit:

  • Ensure readiness for internal and external audits (ISO, OSH, SOX, etc.)
  • Maintain real-time documentation for inspections and compliance tracking

Team Leadership & Coordination:

  • Supervise and guide ESS team members, security personnel, and contractors
  • Conduct regular safety toolbox meetings and performance reviews
  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, and external partners for aligned implementation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in ESS roles, preferably in construction, waste management, or industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of local and international environmental and safety regulations (DENR, DOLE, OSH, ISO, SOX)
  • Proven leadership and coordination skills
  • Certification in OSH, Pollution Control, or similar fields is a plus
