Job Summary:

The PeopleSoft Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of PeopleSoft environments. This role ensures system availability, performance optimization, and security while supporting development, testing, and production environments. The administrator collaborates with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations and upgrades of PeopleSoft applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft applications, databases, and web servers (PUM, PSFT tools, PeopleTools).
  • Perform environment refreshes, patches, fixes, and upgrades.
  • Manage PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA), WebLogic, Tuxedo, and process schedulers.
  • Monitor system performance, tune databases and applications for optimal efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot PeopleSoft application and server issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Maintain PeopleSoft security settings, roles, and user access.
  • Support integration of PeopleSoft with other enterprise applications.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with developers and functional teams to support customization, migrations, and updates.
  • Provide on-call support and incident resolution when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft components (HRMS, FSCM, CRM, Campus Solutions, etc.).
  • Expertise in PeopleTools, PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), and PeopleSoft Internet Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with WebLogic, Tuxedo, Linux/Unix, and Windows server environments.
  • Understanding of system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
