We are seeking a skilled Mobile Tester to join our team and ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing both iOS and Android platforms, with a strong understanding of mobile testing frameworks, tools, and best practices. Prior experience in the banking or fintech industry is preferred, with a focus on delivering secure, high-performing, and user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for iOS and Android mobile applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across different devices, operating systems, and screen sizes.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using standard defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.
  • Ensure applications meet security and compliance standards, particularly for financial services.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous testing improvements.
  • Provide test results and status reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with mobile testing tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Selenium, BrowserStack).
  • Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
  • Experience in banking, payments, or fintech applications is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
