Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Scrum Master to support our Agile development teams for a project-based engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong background in facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and enabling high-performing teams—particularly within Android and iOS mobile application development environments. This role follows a hybrid work setup and is based in BGC, Taguig City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Guide, coach, and support the development team in applying Agile/Scrum principles and practices effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure a clear and prioritized product backlog.
  • Identify and remove roadblocks that may hinder the development team's progress.
  • Monitor sprint progress and deliver timely reports on team velocity, sprint burndown, and other performance indicators.
  • Foster strong communication, transparency, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure continuous improvement by regularly evaluating workflow, team performance, and project outcomes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to align sprint goals, project timelines, and deliverables.
  • Support the development teams working on Android and iOS applications, ensuring Scrum practices are tailored to mobile development workflows.
  • Uphold Agile best practices and promote a culture of accountability and ownership within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in mobile app development projects.
  • PSM (Professional Scrum Master) Certification is required; additional Agile-related certifications are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience working with Android and iOS development teams.
  • Has a background working in a FinTech/insurance industry is a PLUS.
  • Proven experience in a hybrid work environment and collaborating with remote/on-site stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).

Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid setup (onsite work required in BGC, Taguig City as scheduled).
  • Project-based engagement, with contract duration dependent on project needs.

Job Type: Fixed term

Pay: Php70, Php95,000.00 per month
