Job Description

  • Design and implement scalable data solutions using Azure cloud technologies.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for processing large datasets efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to maintain performance and reliability.
  • Optimize existing data solutions for cost and performance efficiency.
  • Document processes and provide knowledge transfer to team members.
  • Stay updated on the latest Azure data technologies and best practices.

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Azure Data Engineer Should Have

  • Proven experience with the Azure Data Platform, specifically with tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data modelling techniques.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Scala.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams for different projects and deliverables.
