Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines Welcome Bank - Rural Bank Full time ₱80,000 - ₱90,000 per year

Will be responsible for overseeing all IT operations and infrastructure to support the bank's strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (BSP, AMLC, PDIC, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to ensure efficient and secure IT systems and infrastructure
  • Responsible for designing, coding, and testing the app, ensuring it functions securely and provides a user-friendly experience.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of the bank's hardware, software, and network systems
  • Analyze and address IT-related risks and implement appropriate security measures
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs
  • Monitor and report on the performance of IT systems and projects
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends and recommend improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the rural banking industry
  • Proven experience in leading and managing an IT team
  • Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, and IT infrastructure
  • Familiarity with banking regulations and IT compliance requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
