IT Strategic Projects Senior Manager

The Senior Project Manager leads cross-functional teams in executing complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that may span multiple departments or business units. They oversee resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring strict adherence to stage gate processes and SDLC best practices throughout the full systems development life cycle.

This role requires actively managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests to guarantee timely and successful delivery. The Senior Project Manager also plays a key role in enhancing project governance, delivery methodologies, and tools, continuously improving the organization's project management maturity.

Empowered to manage day-to-day project operations, the Senior Project Manager ensures that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards—while ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving measurable value.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Project management certification preferred (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Scrum Master)
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of IT experience, with a focused specifically on IT project management
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, end-to-end projects, including:
  • SAP solutions (S/4HANA, ECC 6.0, and other SAP modules)
  • Salesforce and other CRM platforms
  • ERP systems (Oracle, other enterprise solutions)
  • Data Management Solutions and Enterprise Applications
  • Strong background in rollout implementations, upgrades, and migrations across global or complex environments
  • Deep knowledge and application of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe), hybrid project delivery, and PMBOK principles
  • Experience in project governance, portfolio/program management, and project tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Clarity, ServiceNow)
  • Skilled in Change Management, Risk Management, Supplier Assessment & Evaluation, and Business Analysis
  • Knowledge or experience in Innovation, Emerging Technologies, Enterprise Architecture, Service Management, and Application Development
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective partnerships with stakeholders across business and technology teams
  • Proven expertise in budget management, cost control, and project profitability
  • Ability to think strategically, manage multiple priorities, and align initiatives with organizational goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across all organizational levels
