Main Purpose of the Job:

  • To lead implementation of the Nestlé maintenance strategy with appropriate methodologies and tools, aimed to improve maintenance cost and production assets performance

Key Responsibilities:

Manage existing assets:

  • Ensures that organizations implemented the maintenance strategy based on business needs.
  • Establishes an organization framework to deliver this management system.
  • Put in place effective system of maintenance performance governance.
  • Benchmarks externally and internally, across Nestle, to identify opportunities to improve the way we do maintenance.
  • Supports development of new tools, systems, approaches and leverage digital technologies to improve asset maintenance performance.
  • Ensures effective knowledge management between the different factories facilitates creation and sharing of good maintenance practices.
  • Cooperates with Procurement to drive cost effective execution of the maintenance.

Build Engineering Capability:

  • Coordinates and develops maintenance capabilities to ensure effective implementation of the maintenance strategy.
  • Evaluate maintenance competency gaps in the organization. Run workshops and coaching sessions at the factories to close those competency gaps.

Leadership Creation:

  • Champion Assets Maintenance management with senior management to ensure consistently high levels of awareness, visibility and commitment.

Requirements of the role:

  • 5-10 years experience in maintenance management preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry
  • Practical experience in training
  • Experience of developing and implementing PM (planned maintenance) pillar as part TPM ( Total performance management) program
  • Factory Engineer experience is preferrable
  • Registered Mechanical Engineer
