Overview:
The Supply Chain Process Optimization Lead oversees DITO's end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehousing, logistics, and distribution. The role leads the optimization of supply chain workflows and the implementation of IT system solutions to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
It drives performance through data analytics, KPI reporting, and proactive demand and inventory monitoring to support operational continuity. The position also manages supplier and 3PL performance, promotes cross-functional collaboration, and fosters continuous improvement. In addition, it ensures proper documentation, governance, and compliance across all supply chain processes.
The Logistics Operations Lead reports to the Logistics Manager and is responsible for coaching and supporting the Supply Chain team to promote learning, teamwork, and high performance. The role also plays a key part in developing, implementing, and improving logistics processes to ensure they align with business goals and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supply Chain Workflow & IT System Implementation
- Lead the definition, coordination, and optimization of end-to-end supply chain workflows, encompassing warehousing and logistics operations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and IT to ensure alignment of processes and supply chain system solutions (planning, design, and implementation).
- Ensure that all systems and process improvements align with business objectives and operational standards.
2. Data Analytics, Reporting & Performance Management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive KPI dashboards and automated reports to provide real-time performance visibility.
- Monitor and analyze demand and inventory across warehouses and business units to maintain optimal stock levels and service continuity.
- Provide timely alerts and recommendations to requesting units regarding potential shortages, delays, or overstock risks.
- Apply data modeling and analytical techniques to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and enhance distribution efficiency.
3. End to End Supply Chain Operation Oversight
- Oversee warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage 3PL and vendor performance through data-driven KPI tracking and service-level reviews.
4. Team Development & Strategic Support
- Coach and mentor the Supply Chain team in analytics, process optimization, and system utilization.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support the development and execution of logistics and supply chain strategies.
- Foster collaboration across departments to ensure aligned, efficient, and effective execution of supply chain initiatives.
5. Process Documentation & Governance
- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for supply chain operations.
- Support the implementation, rollout, and governance of new or revised processes and systems to ensure compliance and consistency.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Education
: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, and/or Engineering and relevant formal academic - Work Experience
: Minimum 10 years in supply chain, logistics or related operations, with experience in process optimization and IT system implementation preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient with data analysis tools and Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Strong understanding and Working knowledge of supply chain systems (TMS, WMS, or ERP platforms).
- Firm knowledge of demand planning, inventory/ distribution/ logistics management, and performance monitoring.
- Solid grasp of end-to-end logistics, warehousing, and distribution processes.
