Job Description

The Accounting Associate is responsible for performing routine accounting and clerical tasks to support accurate and efficient financial operations. This role involves data entry, filing, processing financial transactions, and maintaining organized financial records in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record high-volume Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
  • Maintain accurate financial records by ensuring timely and correct data entry into accounting software.
  • Organize and digitally file financial documents including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
  • Prepare basic supporting schedules and spreadsheets to assist the accounting team.
  • Manage vendor and client files, ensuring contact details, billing information, and documentation are accurate and up to date.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in a BPO/Shared Services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and high-volume data entry.
  • Experience using video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, Scribe, Airtable, and similar applications.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience serving US clients, preferably working the graveyard shift.
  • Willing to work onsite.
