Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm VIC, AU Time or 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM PH Time

Holiday to follow: VIC, AU Holidays

Workdays: Mon - Fri

About the RoleJoin a well-established and forward-thinking Design & Construct construction company specializing in multi-residential projects. Due to steady growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to expand our dynamic project team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven professional with a proven track record to join a progressive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct initial assessments of tenders for shortlist review.

· Prepare and submit comprehensive tender documentation.

· Develop and present detailed BOQs and cost plans.

· Analyse and compare subcontractor pricing.

· Engage with key subcontractors throughout the tender period.

· Organize and manage the handover of successful tenders to the project team.

· Assist in the preparation of construction variation works.

· Compile accurate and timely estimates, quotations, and trade packages, including material lists and construction programs.

· Generate preliminary elemental pricing and base cost estimates for projects.

Core Competencies & Requirements:

· Proficiency in Buildsoft estimating software and project management tools (highly desirable).

· Strong buildability in the commercial apartment space.

· Strong understanding of BCA codes and council regulations.

· Strong understanding of D&C process

· Proven ability in identifying and assessing Value Management.

· Excellent time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of meeting milestone deadlines.

· Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with colleagues, trades, and stakeholders.

· Tertiary qualification in Building & Construction or related field.

· Demonstrated experience in the delivery of apartment projects.

· In-depth knowledge of the Melbourne construction market, subcontractors, and local suppliers.

· Strong skills in procurement, tendering, contract management, cost/value reporting, measurement, BOQs, and scope of works.

· Ability to track and manage project expenditures efficiently.

· A high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong leadership qualities, leading by example with integrity.

· Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

· A proactive and self-motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
