Job Summary:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and dependable IT Technician with CCTV expertise to join our team. This hybrid role combines general IT support duties with the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of CCTV and security systems. The successful candidate will ensure smooth IT operations while supporting physical security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Support Duties:

  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
  • Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
  • Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.
  • Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
  • Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
  • Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
  • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Conducting daily backup operations.
  • Managing technical documentation.
  • Recording events on camera and storing footage in a digital format for later reference.

CCTV & Security Systems Duties:

  • Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing security cameras, computer networks, and other equipment used in video surveillance systems.
  • Operating computer systems that monitor surveillance camera feeds for activity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, including cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and monitoring stations.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software faults in surveillance equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and security teams for new CCTV projects and upgrades.
  • Ensure proper functioning of video storage systems and manage video backup/archive procedures.
  • Assist in reviewing and exporting video footage as requested by authorized personnel.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of all CCTV and access control equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding video surveillance and data protection.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum [1–3] years of experience in IT support and CCTV installation/maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, IP cameras, DVR/NVR technology, and networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with access control systems and security software is a plus.
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and wireless networks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
