Headquartered in Australia, we are looking for an experienced Collections Team Leader to join our growing team.

About Us

We are a corporate dispute and recovery firm specialising in high-value construction matters in Australia. Our work is guided by three core principles: rapid resolutions, tactical expertise, and creative ideas to get the job done.

This is not a traditional collections role involving calling consumers for their overdue accounts. We handle business-to-business corporate debts and disputes. We work with high value construction clients, with high value situations.

Our clients value the service we provide, and we work in close partnership with barristers, solicitors, negotiators, and liquidators in Australia. As the business continues to grow rapidly, we are seeking a Team Leader with strong banking and finance experience to help build and lead our Philippines based team.

The Role

As a Collections Team Leader, you will manage complex corporate matters and play a key role in both operations and team leadership. You will:


• Communicate daily with clients, lawyers, and stakeholders via phone and email


• Research and act as our internal private investigator on debtors who owe money


• Conduct efficient and thorough onboarding of new clients


• Prepare submissions including legal demands and court documents


• Use AI tools to review documents and make contracts


• Perform daily reconciliation of incoming and outgoing funds


• Reconcile client accounts, debtors, and disbursements


• Maintain ultra-high standards of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism

Over the first 12 months, you will also be involved in hiring and developing additional team members, with the goal of establishing a full-time Philippines office.

About You

You are an experienced banking or finance professional who is ready to move beyond frontline collections and into a role that combines strategy, negotiation, and leadership.


• 3+ years' experience working in Tier 1 banking or financial institutions (major corporate names only)


• 3+ years' experience as a Team Leader within banking or finance specifically in the collections team or the legal team handling similar collections or disputes


• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)


• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills


• Highly detail-oriented and diligent


• Confident negotiating with Australian business clients, lawyers, and business professionals


• Willing and able to work Australian Eastern Time hours (AEST/AEDT)


• Able to recruit the "best-of-the-best" as we expand

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, aligned with Australian Eastern Time. You will begin working from home, with plans to transition into a dedicated office as the team grows.
