Role Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, recording, and reconciliation of financial transactions, invoices, and payments.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable and payable in coordination with internal departments and external partners.
  • Prepare and file statutory reports, including BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government-mandated submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and DOT accreditation standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of internal control systems and financial procedures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial and compliance documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Identify and report potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or compliance; experience in the travel, tourism, or service industry is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and Philippine regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
  • High integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
