Our core clients are in the gaming industry, specifically i-casino and iGaming companies. We help them improve their platforms by enhancing user engagement and providing new opportunities for growth. Our goal is to ensure that our clients experience an excellent digital that is interactive and dynamic.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our growing team The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance. You should have a solid understanding of Philippine financial regulations, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and be proactive in process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Perform general accounting duties including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date accounting and bookkeeping records.

• Provide support in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Month-End Close

• Oversee and perform month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis related to digital assets.

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial reports within established timelines.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Perform variance analysis and identify discrepancies to ensure accuracy in financial data.

• Assist in financial reporting, ensuring alignment with applicable accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS).

Tax Compliance, Reporting & Strategy

• Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.

• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings in compliance with Philippine tax regulations.

• Assist in the development of tax strategies that align with the company's objectives while minimizing liabilities.

• Stay updated on the latest tax regulations, providing advisory support and guidance to senior management.

Government Compliance & Filings

• Handle government-mandated filings such as SSS, PhilHealth (PHIC), and Pag-IBIG (HDMF).

• Coordinate with local government authorities to ensure timely renewal and application of all business permits and licenses.

• Monitor permit expiration dates and prepare required reports for government agencies.

Audit Support

• Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are properly documented and readily accessible.

• Provide audit support for assigned areas, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Work on automation projects to streamline and improve the efficiency of the monthly close process.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, reducing manual effort across accounting functions.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of scalable accounting processes and internal controls.

Policy & Procedure Development

• Assist in the development of new accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting through strong internal control frameworks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with departments such as operations and technology to resolve discrepancies and enhance accounting workflows.

• Communicate financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders as needed.

Ad-Hoc Projects

• Assist with various ad-hoc projects, including financial analyses, system upgrades, and process enhancements.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA certification is a plus

• 10+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience

• Previous experience in startup or captive/shared services environment preferred

• Strong knowledge of Philippine financial regulations, tax laws, and PFRS

• Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills

• Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
