Job Summary

As an L1 SOC Analyst, you'll monitor and respond to security alerts, investigate incidents, and help protect our clients' systems and data. This is a shift-based role ideal for someone eager to grow in cybersecurity and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor alerts from XDR, SIEM, endpoint protection, and firewall systems
  • Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine root cause and impact
  • Assist in vulnerability management and reporting
  • Support incident response: containment, eradication, recovery
  • Document incidents accurately in the management system
  • Collaborate with SOC team to improve processes
  • Participate in training and development programs
  • Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
  • Degree or experience in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and firewalls
  • Knowledge of tools like CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Azure Sentinel
  • Understanding of attack techniques and mitigation strategies
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Fluent in British English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to work on a shift schedule
