Work Setup

  • Full RTO
    in Taguig
  • Shifting work schedule - most of the time in nightshift
  • Fixed weekends off

Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in SOC leadership or equivalent.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale SOC teams and complex security environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence platforms, and incident response.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Governance

  • Define and execute the SOC strategy aligned with organizational cybersecurity goals.
  • Establish and maintain SOC policies, procedures, and playbooks.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align security operations with business priorities.

Operational Oversight

  • Lead 24/7 monitoring, threat detection, and incident response operations.
  • Oversee deployment and optimization of SIEM, SOAR, and other security tools.
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of security incidents.

Threat Intelligence & Response

  • Supervise threat hunting, vulnerability management, and proactive defense initiatives.
  • Coordinate forensic investigations and root cause analysis post-incident.
  • Lead containment, eradication, and recovery efforts during major security events.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure SOC operations meet regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Support internal and external audits, and produce regular compliance reports.
  • Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing SOC team (analysts, responders, hunters, etc.).
  • Define roles, career paths, and training plans for SOC personnel.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
