About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Engineer to join our team in overseeing the quality standards of our production line. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting materials, monitoring manufacturing processes, and ensuring that all products meet internal specifications and external industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards specific to steel door manufacturing.
  • Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for defects and adherence to specifications.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformities.
  • Monitor welding, assembly, and finishing processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and design teams to address quality issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, inspection reports, and quality records.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ANSI/SDI, UL, ISO).
  • Train and support production staff on quality control procedures and standards.
  • Willing to be assigned in projects location

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment or construction industry.
  • Familiarity with steel door specifications and standards (e.g., SDI, ANSI, UL, ASTM).
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, SPC).
  • Proficient in using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software and MS Office Suite.
