Position Overview:

We are seeking a
Senior Systems & Facilities Administrator
to support and lead our Makati, Philippines office. This role combines
advanced systems and network administration
with
senior-level facilities and site leadership
responsibilities.

On the technical side, you will be responsible for the day-to-day stability, performance, and security of our
local Makati IT environment
as well as its integration with our
global corporate infrastructure
. On the facilities and operations side, you will act as the
primary site leader for the Makati office
, helping
drive TrueNAS culture
, set the tone for the workplace, and provide strategic feedback and reporting to corporate on how the office is doing and how it can improve.

This role is ideal for someone who is both
hands-on technically
and
strong in leadership, communication, and workplace operations
.

This is an in-office role based out of our Makati office. Hours for this role are 4:00 am PHT - 1:00 pm PHT.

Base Pay Range

The base pay range of this position is PHP129,000 to PHP165,000. Additional compensation through the Incentive Bonus Program is available for this position after successfully completing 6-months of employment.

Please note that the provided range reflects the pay spectrum for positions within the same job category as the one to which this position belongs. The final offer will consider various factors, such as location, education, and prior experience, to ensure a comprehensive and fair compensation assessment.

Expected Posting Timelines

This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, a maximum of 90 days.

The Day-to-Day

Systems & Network Administration

• Global Infrastructure: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs) across all company locations, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
• Escalated Support: Provide Tier 3 escalated support for global helpdesk requests, resolving complex issues with workstations, servers, and applications for remote and onsite employees.
• Server & OS Management: Manage Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments globally, including user administration, patching, storage management, and virtualization (VMware/Xen).
• Monitoring & Response: Monitor the health of the global network (availability, latency, throughput) and respond immediately to outages or performance issues.
• Project Implementation: Lead or assist in the rollout of new IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, and security initiatives for both the Philippines site and remote offices.

Facilities & Operations Leadership

• Serve as the
  primary facilities and site leader
  for the Makati office, setting a professional, collaborative, and high-performance tone consistent with TrueNAS values and culture.
• Act as the
  local steward of TrueNAS culture
  , helping translate corporate values into day-to-day behaviors and office practices, and proactively reinforcing a positive, inclusive, and accountable work environment.
• Provide
  regular qualitative and quantitative reports
  to corporate leadership on office performance, morale, space utilization, safety, vendor performance, and operational issues; act as the primary voice of the Makati office for facilities- and operations-related matters.
• Develop and propose a
  facilities and workplace strategy
  for the Makati site (space planning, seating, expansion/consolidation, amenities, ergonomics, visitor experience, and security posture), ensuring alignment with corporate goals, IT requirements, and local regulations.
• Identify opportunities for
  continuous improvement in facilities and operations
  (cost optimization, vendor performance, office layout, equipment lifecycle, energy efficiency, sustainability) and drive the implementation of approved initiatives.
• Provide
  site leadership
  by coordinating closely with local managers and corporate stakeholders to ensure consistent standards, clear communication, and timely escalation and resolution of site-level issues.

Vendor Management

• Oversee
  facilities-related vendors and service providers
  (e.g., building management, security, cleaning, maintenance, utilities, office supplies), including selection, contract management, SLA definition, and performance reviews.
• Ensure vendors meet
  quality, safety, and compliance standards
  and proactively address any gaps or recurring issues with corrective action plans.

Employee Experience & Office Environment

• Own and maintain
  office standards and protocols
  (access control, visitor management, conference room etiquette, cleanliness, signage, and health & safety practices) and ensure they are communicated, understood, and followed.
• Partner with HR, IT leadership, and local managers to ensure the office environment supports
  employee engagement, productivity, and retention
  , and provide structured feedback and recommendations based on employee input and observations.
• Lead or support
  office-wide initiatives and events
  (all-hands meetings, client visits, team-building events, town halls, volunteer activities), ensuring smooth execution from both facilities and technology perspectives.

Smart Hands / Onsite Operational Support

• Serve as
  onsite "smart hands"
  for corporate IT and engineering teams, assisting with hardware deployments, moves/adds/changes, basic troubleshooting, and coordination of local resources as needed.
• Support
  data center / lab / network room operations
  within the Makati office as applicable, including physical installation, cabling, labeling, and adherence to security and safety procedures.
• Ensure
  timely, high-quality onsite support
  that complements the broader systems and network administration responsibilities of the role.

Education

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is
  preferred
  .
• Facilities supervisory or management experience is a plus.

Experience

• Several years of experience in
  systems and network administration
  (ideally at a Systems Administrator III / senior level), supporting production environments.
• Demonstrated experience in:
• Managing
  Windows/Linux servers
  , storage solutions, and networking equipment.
• Supporting
  office or site-level IT operations
  in a corporate, shared-services, or technology-focused environment.
• Experience in
  facilities coordination, site leadership, or office management
  is strongly preferred; direct facilities management or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Prior experience
  reporting to a regional or global corporate team
  , providing site updates, metrics, and recommendations, is a plus.
• Experience working in a
  fast-paced, growth-oriented
  environment is beneficial.
• Strong technical skills in:
• Server and storage administration (including, ideally,
  TrueNAS
  or similar).
• Network fundamentals (switching, routing, VLANs, VPN, Wi-Fi, firewalls).
• Systems monitoring, patching, and security best practices.
• Excellent
  communication and interpersonal skills
  ; able to confidently represent the Makati office to corporate and clearly communicate expectations to local staff and vendors.
• Demonstrated
  leadership and ownership mindset
  —comfortable making recommendations, escalating issues appropriately, and driving initiatives to completion.
• Strong
  organizational and vendor management
  skills, with the ability to track contracts, SLAs, and multiple operational tasks simultaneously.
• A
  service-oriented and culture-building mindset
  , with genuine interest in creating a great place to work and maintaining a reliable, secure IT environment.
• Ability to work
  onsite 5 days per week
  and occasionally adjust hours for global coordination, maintenance windows, or critical incidents.
