About the role

As Senior Systems Engineer, you will manage and optimize essential productivity systems for our partner, ensuring that Google Workspace, Slack, Workato, and Atlassian products are optimized to support smooth operations and enhance collaboration for teams across the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Manage and optimize the Google Workspace environment, including user management, security configurations, and custom implementations to meet specific business needs.
  • Support and enhance Slack, Workato, and Atlassian environments, ensuring they operate reliably and efficiently across the organization.
  • Develop custom tools and automation using Python and Google Apps Script to solve complex business problems and enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Identify and implement AI-powered solutions to improve productivity systems and create intelligent automations that transform team workflows.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, acting as the escalation point for difficult problems across multiple platforms.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and solutions to build a robust collective knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement tailored technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Lead and manage projects to evaluate, implement, and integrate new productivity tools, ensuring they align with business objectives.
  • Drive system reliability, ensuring uptime and performance align with critical business processes.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers on best practices in system design, implementation, and governance.

What makes you ideal:

  • Have 5+ years of experience managing Google Workspace and other SaaS applications, such as Slack and Atlassian, in an enterprise environment.
  • Have used Python and Google Apps Script to build custom tools and solutions that streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Are comfortable working with API integrations between various SaaS platforms to drive system efficiency and automation.
  • Have strong experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and implementing security best practices in cloud-based productivity systems.
  • Are passionate about integrating AI-powered solutions to optimize productivity and transform how teams collaborate.
  • Are an excellent communicator, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Have experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across multiple platforms.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams to implement innovative technical solutions.
