JOB SUMMARY

The Finance and Accounting Officer supports the Family Management Office by monitoring, analyzing, and managing financial and investment performance across Joy~Nostalg companies. The role ensures disciplined, process-driven investment oversight, accurate reporting, and alignment with the company's values, mission, and long-term financial objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Investment Monitoring & Analysis

  • Monitor the performance of investments across operating companies and external portfolios.
  • Prepare consolidated investment and financial performance reports for management review.
  • Analyze variances, returns, risks, and trends to support informed investment decisions.

Financial Oversight & Controls

  • Supervise accounting and financial records related to investments and inter-company transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with approved investment policies, internal controls, and governance standards.
  • Coordinate with auditors and advisors on investment-related reviews and validations.

Process & Portfolio Management

  • Implement structured, process-driven monitoring systems for investment tracking.
  • Maintain investment documentation, schedules, and performance dashboards.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance transparency, control, and efficiency.

Multi-Business & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate financial and investment data across multiple Joy~Nostalg companies.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Family Management Office and operating units.
  • Support management in evaluating new and existing investment opportunities.

Values, Governance & Professional Conduct

  • Uphold integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards in all investment activities.
  • Demonstrate commitment, teamwork, and accountability in managing family assets.
  • Perform other related duties in support of the Family Management Office's mandate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or investment-related roles.
  • Supervisor-level experience in a structured, process-driven operating environment.
  • Training in investment analysis, portfolio management, or financial modeling is an advantage.
  • Exposure to governance, risk, and compliance frameworks is preferred.
  • CPA, or equivalent certification, is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong financial, accounting, and investment analysis skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple investments and business interests simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, mature, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates integrity, commitment, and sound judgment in managing family investments.
  • Collaborative team player with strong sense of responsibility and purpose.
  • Operates within a Family Management Office overseeing long-term, multi-business investments.
  • Balances financial discipline with stewardship of family values and legacy.
  • Supports transparency, governance, and sustainable wealth management.
  • Values integrity, commitment, and teamwork.
  • Willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
