Job Summary: As the People / HR Operations Head, you will work closely with the Overall Back Office Operations Head to play a crucial role in ensuring that TalentHero's HR policies, processes, and infrastructure are well-organized, scalable, and equipped to handle the company's anticipated growth.
Your responsibilities will include implementing key HR systems, developing clear organizational guidelines, and leading the HR team in providing an excellent employee and client experience. This is a senior-level position where your strategic input and leadership will directly impact the company's ability to effectively manage its expanding workforce.
Responsibilities:
● HR Infrastructure & Policy Development o Design and implement a comprehensive HR Handbook that clearly outlines policies, procedures, and expectations for the company's operations across all regions (where applicable). o Standardize Job Grades, Titles, and Descriptions, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with company goals, while supporting employee career growth and retention (where applicable). o Develop and implement Salary Bandings that are competitive, transparent, and reflect industry standards in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and other regional offices (where applicable).
● Career Development & Performance Management o Lead the development and implementation of Promotion Criteria that is clear, transparent, and accessible to all employees, providing them with a roadmap for career growth and development within the company (where applicable). o Design and oversee the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) process, ensuring that it aligns with TalentHero's values and performance expectations, and is both fair and constructive for employees facing challenges (where applicable)
● Employee & Client Onboarding Process Improvement o Revamp and streamline the onboarding process for both employees and clients to improve their experience and ensure smooth integration into TalentHero's culture and operations. o Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the onboarding process is efficient, welcoming, and effectively sets the stage for long-term success.
● Client Escalation Management o Take the lead in developing a more effective client escalation process to address issues such as delayed payroll, payroll calculation errors, unethical termination practices, and client non-compliance with local labor laws. o Work with the HR team to ensure timely and appropriate responses to complaints, focusing on resolution and the prevention of future issues. o Partner with the legal and compliance teams to monitor and respond to complaints filed with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and similar regulatory bodies.
● HR Team & Regional Coordination o Oversee the HR ticketing system, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of employee and client issues, and providing support for HR-related matters. o Provide leadership to HR teams in the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand, ensuring that HR policies and practices are consistently implemented across all regional offices. o Collaborate with regional teams to drive best practices, share insights, and maintain alignment on global HR standards.
● Strategic HR Projects o Drive HR-related initiatives that align with TalentHero's growth strategy, ensuring that HR capabilities are scalable and capable of supporting rapid expansion. o Lead and contribute to projects that enhance overall organizational effectiveness and improve employee engagement. Required
Qualifications:
● Proven experience in building and scaling HR infrastructures in fast-growing companies, with a focus on HR policies, performance management, and organizational development.
● Strong experience in employee onboarding, client management, and escalation handling, particularly in the outsourcing or HR services industry.
● Demonstrated expertise in labor law compliance and working with regulatory bodies like DOLE.
● Experience managing and leading teams and driving consistent HR practices
● Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve company goals.
