Retail Marketing Specialist
I. Job Summary

Supports and coordinates the implementation of retail marketing and merchandising initiatives by working with internal teams, partner companies, and suppliers. Focuses on trade program execution, merchandising, in-store activations, inventory management, and reporting.


II. Major Accountabilities / Key Tasks

Key Daily Operations

  1. Trade Program Implementation

  2. Plan and execute trade marketing programs

  3. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  4. Ensure effectiveness and documentation of trade initiatives

  5. Merchandising & Inventory Management

  6. Implement visual merchandising strategies

  7. Track and replenish demo/display units

  8. Retail & Sales Support

  9. Collaborate with sales/product teams

  10. Equip Dealer-Based Promoters with product knowledge and sales kits

  11. In-Store Activation

  12. Assist in planning and executing retail activations and demos

  13. Additional Tasks

  14. Handle other duties as assigned


Resource Management

  • Ensure proper use, accountability, and maintenance of marketing tools and demo units

Reports Management

  • Maintain organized records
  • Provide insights on competitive landscape and market situations

Internal Compliance

  • Follow company programs on quality, health, safety, and environmental standards

III. Interaction & Coordination
  • Reports To: Assistant Manager, Retail Marketing
  • Indirectly Supervises: Agency Team Leaders, Promoters, Merchandisers
  • Internal Coordination: Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Corp Comm
  • External Coordination: Agencies, Dealers, Branch Managers, Suppliers

Education:

  • Degree in:

  • Communications Technology Management

  • Marketing / Management
  • Mass Communication
  • LIA-COM
  • Management Information Systems

Experience:

  • 2–3 years in:

  • Merchandising / Trade Marketing

  • Sales Ops (Consumer Electronics or FMCG ideal)
  • In-store promotions and demos

Skills:

  • Merchandising, Inventory Control
  • Sales Analysis, Retail Coordination
  • Event Management, Project Handling

Other Attributes:
