About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the sales team at Merit Stainless Steel Inc., a leading provider of high-quality stainless steel products in the Philippines. As our Sales Representative, you will be based at our San Juan City showroom and play a vital role in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career advancement within the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Actively engage with customers, both in-person and over the phone, to understand their needs and recommend the most suitable stainless steel solutions
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of our product range, pricing, and delivery options to provide accurate and helpful information to customers
  • Assist with showroom operations, including product displays, stock management, and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities
  • Participate in product training and development initiatives to continuously improve your product knowledge and sales skills

What we're looking for

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the stainless steel, construction, or hardware industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and effectively present product information
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service orientation
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a drive to achieve sales targets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable using customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and product developments
