Accounting Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily accounting functions including data entry, processing invoices, and maintaining financial records
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Verify accuracy of expense reports, purchase orders, and vendor statements
  • Assist with payroll preparation and posting journal entries
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents (digital and physical)
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies
  • Support the accounting team with audits, reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar) is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willing to work on-site at BGC, Taguig
  • Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Willing to start ASAP
