We are partnering with a leading international technology company expanding its operations in Asia, and we're currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing engineering hub in Manila or Bangkok.

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth software integration and deployment. You'll work closely with international teams to automate workflows, manage builds, and maintain stable, scalable release processes.

This role is best suited for professionals who thrive in on-premise environments (non-cloud), enjoy solving complex integration challenges, and have a hands-on approach to building and releasing engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate build, integration, and deployment processes to improve delivery speed and reliability.
  • Support globally distributed development and QA teams.
  • Monitor build processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for build and release operations.
  • Collaborate with various teams to coordinate release schedules and deployment procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Linux systems and shell scripting.
  • Hands-on expertise with Jenkins and GitLab for automation and CI/CD.
  • Proven experience in build and release engineering within complex software environments.
  • Familiarity with Java and Java-based web applications.
  • Strong understanding of version control and software configuration management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a global team.
  • 6+ years of overall experience; solid senior-level technical depth.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Candidates must already have the right to work in the respective country (no visa sponsorship at this stage).
