About the job

The IT Data and Analytics department within the IT group serves as a critical enabler for the effective use of data platforms and AI by managing data architecture, providing scalable data and AI solutions that will empower the bank to leverage insights for strategic decision-making, customer insights, customer personalization, and risk management.

As a Platform Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data platform solutions that drive the bank's data and analytics capabilities. This role is responsible for defining the technical strategy, managing technical debts and factoring the bank's Enterprise Architecture guardrails into solution designs, and ensuring platform scalability and performance.

Role Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions leveraging Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake and others.
• Develop architecture frameworks and patterns to support adoption of an Enterprise Data Platform and AI Platform for analytics, reporting, and generative AI solutions
• Drive integration and alignment of data solutions factoring the bank's Enterprise Architecture guardrails into solution designs.
• Oversee the bank's Master Data Management platform's architecture, design and optimization of master data using Informatica MDM
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to factor in data lineage, governance processes and data quality when designing solutions that enhance master data and its availability

Platform Performance Optimization

• Optimize ETL processes and data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Provide technical support in troubleshooting and monitoring platform performance issues to maintain optimal system performance

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with data platform owners, enterprise and solution architects, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to align data solutions with business goals/requirements.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to assess new tools and approaches for data and AI platforms
• Explore emerging technologies in data analytics and AI, including generative AI, and drive their adoption to resolve business requirements following the SDLC process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related fields / master's degree an advantage.
• 5+ years in data architecture, platform engineering or solution architecture roles
• Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale platform solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or equivalent framework certifications, Azure Solutions Architect, Informatica
• Strong understanding of security protocols, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Candidate must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati.
