About the role

Philtrust Bank is seeking a talented New Accounts Staff to join our Greenhills Branch in Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and processing new account applications, ensuring seamless onboarding of our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assisting customers with opening new bank accounts, including savings, checking, and time deposit accounts
  • Accurately processing new account applications and supporting documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies
  • Cross-selling additional financial products and services to meet customer needs
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to new accounts
  • Providing prompt and courteous responses to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborating with the broader branch team to deliver a consistently high level of customer service

What we're looking for

  • Earned a Bachelor's degree (BS) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or banking role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Proficiency in using banking and customer relationship management systems
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a positive branch experience
  • Fluency in English and the local language (Filipino)
