Job Description
onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Sales team located in Philippines/Manila. As a Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will have the opportunity to support onsemi customers developing solutions for Automotive, Industrial, and Computing applications. You will be working closely with the Sales team and Business Units to drive new account opportunities and product strategies while building trusting relationships with customer engineers and internal business unit stakeholders. Your focus is on collaborating with customers and solving their everyday challenges by being an expert in our market segments.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep understanding of customers' technical requirements, as well as translate system architecture requirements from customer specifications.
  • Perform trouble-shooting, system level bench testing, analysis and design optimization for customer engineers.
  • Develop demo boards, reference design circuits and evaluation boards to customer's specifications and performance requirements.
  • Provide on-site technical and application support to customers.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product trainings to customers to present new onsemi technology, products and roadmaps.
  • Be knowledgeable of competitor solutions and position onsemi products and solutions to customers.
  • Develop and establish strong cooperative relationships with the customers' engineering organization, as well as drive timely and effective resolution of customer technical issues.

Qualifications
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the Semiconductor industry or equivalent technical knowledge/experience in electronics circuit design, ideally in datacenter/cloud/enterprise environments.
  • Experienced in providing on-site technical support to customers, developing demo boards, troubleshooting circuits and circuit board layout.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage technical discussions and build strong customer relationships.
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to dive deep into technical issues.
